On her back she will carry the Sacred Symbols of Peace from the Star Grandmothers and Grandfathers, engraved in her shell. At the base, where one cannot see under the pole will be the Universal & Spiritual Law Symbols of Creation, to be touching and grounded into Mother Earth.The phrase, “May Peace Prevail On Earth” will be in four languages of Turtle Island and representing the four aspects of human nature:Hopi (Heart-Emotions), Mayan or Inca (Mind-Thought), Cherokee (Physical-Body) and La/Da/Nakota (Spirit-Prayer).The Isage Wookiye’, Peace Pole is made from the Sacred Cottonwood of the La/Na/Dakota Sacred Sun Dance ceremony. This year his name is “Iyokipipi Wicasa”, Joyous Man.We will carry this message of Peace to SERPENT MOUND peebles Ohio to present to those in attendance and allow for all to see and make prayers with.
