Serpent Mound Spring Seed And Water Peace Summit March 18th-20th, 2017

Sponsored by Alternate Universe House of Phacops

Held during the Spring Equinox March 18th-20th, 2017 at both Woodland Altars & Serpent Mound in Peebles, Ohio.

We want prayers, music, and celebration with more than talk. It is all about community when coming together to heal ourselves and our land.

This event is free to the public however donations make this possible to produce such a wonderful event. There are many speakers and volunteers we need to provide travel expenses, lodging, and meals for. There are several methods in which you can contribute.

The majority of events will be at Woodland Altars. They have a beautiful facility that has an indoor multi-use venue as well as large open spaces in a forrest surrounding. Some ceremony will be at Serpent Mound during the event, especially March 20th for the equinox.

We have several featured speakers and have allotted more time for music and ceremony. There will be limited food vendors available for purchase and guests are encouraged to bring food and beverage in the Woodland Alters kitchen for communal dining as part of the participation. We need participants to donate food and their time to help prepare, cook, serve, and clean for the community. Please e-mail to commit this.

We understand that people have dietary and allergy restrictions but we can not accommodate any specific separation of food and beverage. Those with particular needs should prepare in advance for this event.

Due to limited space, housing must be reserved in advance through booking address All chalets have been reserved for the performers of this festival. The booking on-line is for the Heritage Lodge which is a beautiful bunk house that has separate facilities for both men and women respectively. Plentiful on-site camping and limited RV sites with or without hook-ups also available for the event. Keep in mind that this time of the year weather is unpredictable and to prepare for this event wisely. Please contact Woodland Alters for rates and questions about the facilities themselves. While we encourage our community to lodge at Woodland Alters, there are several local motels available in Hillsboro, West Union, Winchester, and Seaman in case all occupancy becomes reserved. Bear in mind these locations are at least thirty minutes from the venue.

There is absolutely no camping available at Serpent Mound or it’s adjacent properties.

All performers are by invitation only. Please contact Terri Sings With Ravens for inquiries

It takes a village to produce such an event and we are open to any suggestions for the event. All types of volunteers would be welcome.
There will be children's workshops and a special peace summit portion for younger audiences as well. If you are interested in being a teacher, please tell us what you have to offer.
